We make every effort to provide accurate information about our products. Photos are intended to give an indication of plants and products, but provide no guarantee as to colour or detail of any actual plant or product that you might purchase. Information that we provide on the care of plants and products is of a general nature, and errors and omissions may occur. Kotare Subtropicals does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site.

Prices

All prices on this site are in NZ dollars and exclude GST. Any freight charges are in addition to the prices shown. We take care to ensure that all prices are accurate, but when an incorrect price is shown we reserve the right to charge the corrected price.

Ordering

You may order products through this site by emailing us your order request. We will email you in return a quote which includes the cost of the products as well as the cost of delivery. We can deliver products using a courier company or sometimes we deliver products ourselves. Products can also be picked up from our nursery by arrangement. Normally we request payment 2 weeks before delivery, but in some circumstances we may request a deposit.

Refunds/Replacements

Refunds and replacements are at our sole discretion. We cannot take responsibility for plants that die from lack of care or having been planted in an unsuitable location.

We value your custom and are committed to upholding your privacy. We will not sell, share or trade your contact information.

Pot Sizes For Bananas

Bananas are available either as stems or potted. For potted stock the following sizes are available:

• Small: up to 0.5m height in 17 cm pots 

• Medium: 0.5m - 1m height in 23 cm pots

• Large: 1.0m – 1.5m height in 28cm pots

• Extra Large/Specimen potted Banana up to 2.5m
