The Williams banana is a larger Cavendish type banana growing up to 3 m in height. The plant produces bigger fruit with very good flavour. This variety requires propping.
 
Plant in a sheltered and warm spot in rich free draining soil. Water, mulch and feed well.
 
Small: to 50 cm in height
Medium: between 50 cm and 100 cm in height
